〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕美國眾議院議長裴洛西（Nancy Pelosi）2日晚間10點44分搭乘專機抵達台北松山機場，一下機即在推特連發數則推文，強調此行是美國堅定支持台灣的民主承諾。
裴洛西週二晚甫抵台灣就在推特連發3則推文，首先她表示，訪團此次來台，是美國支持台灣充滿活力的民主承諾，「我們將與台灣領導重申美方對合作夥伴的支持，並促進我們的共同利益，包括推動自由開放的印太地區。在當今世界面臨選擇專制與民主之際，美國與台灣2300萬人民的團結比以往任何時候都更加重要。」

裴洛西接著強調：「這次訪問就同先前幾次國會代表團一樣，絕對不與美國長期以來以1979 年《台灣關係法》、美中聯合公報和六項保證為方針的政策相牴觸。美國也持續反對任何妄想單方面改變（台海）現狀的企圖。」
據悉，裴洛西明天（3日）一早將與台積電視訊會議，上午會見蔡總統和國安高層、拜會立法院，也將舉行記者會，下午參訪景美人權園區，並與在台港人及中國民運人士等會面後，離台前往南韓。
